FXU General Meetings

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This year's AGM took place on Wed 2 February in the Upper Stannary, Tremough campus. Thank you to all those who attended.

The AGM is open to all students to see what your students' union has been doing over the past year. New issues can be raised, votes can be taken on FXU decisions.

If you missed it or want to recap on what happened, just click here for the AGM minutes (notes) of the meeting.

Just to note, this AGM did not reach the minimum number of students required (this is called quorum and at the time was 75 students for FXU) and so the vote to accept/reject the proposed new constitution for FXU was relayed to the next level of FXU decision-making, which is the FXU Student Council. The Student Council voted to approve the constitution, which will take effect as of 1 August 2011.
